So part of the process of living and working in korea..CHANGE.. everything is always changing. Now once a week I have to leave my class in the care of another teacher and visit my co workers to pick up teaching tips. Talk about invouluntarry participation. I hope who ever coined the phrase a change will do you good made a lot of money by lying to me!! I'm feeling in high spirts because it's fetting close to the time of year when days fly by and christmas looms ahead with it's lofty ideals and feel good moments.. i can't wait!

The one I threaten to eat kim bop style almost everyday...The one that drains your energy from your lifeless slighty hung over body bright and early on monday morning.... that one!? It's not Right But it's okay

Korea has been mean and ugly to me at times...But also it's been sweet and gentle... We have a LOVE / HATE relationship that rivals Ike and Tina's .. I just hope our Relationship survives times test of trial and tribulations, fears, doubts, and extrema frustration, etc. Because I really feel like we have a lot to learn from each other. In a way this trip has saved me from becoming someone I've never envisioned being and I've got to be grateful. I know of nothing that has happened without it's reasoning and purpose. So i am trying to remain calmly satisfied with me and mildly satisfied with this situation. I'm optimistic that every will be OK in the end.

Scrapping Plans for THAILAND

Yesterday i named some of the new batch of 3rd grade children that came to my class. I let them all choose names from a long list of names I compiled. I realized I named every one from back home, Clif Vanessa,regina, terrence, joey, eric, Michael and Janet jackson, quinten, jt aj.. kanika anitra, landon, vela, donna, betsy, brandon, tj taj, taryll.. on and on the kids picked out names. I now have a Michael, janet, jackson,Courtney, and Kanika. more to come today....

Also yesterday was my best Boo Quinten's Bday..We've shared a lot of "firsts" together but yesterday the first b-day in 5 years he's spent with out me and and my ubber crazy antics.... and he's sad and he misses me... andI'm sad and I miss im so much I want to go home to cheer him up. It's so badthat I'm considering not going to Thailand and instead heading back to the states. What on earth could make me feel this compulsively ...nothing less than the need to quench my thirst of unrequited LOVE! Quinten is the kind of guy that doesn't say much, doesn't start mess, and at the same time doesnm't F*ck around when it comes to kickin' azz! A gentle spirit, but a firery soul. I've been absolutely smitten with him ever since the day I've met him and so has everyone else that knows him. He could have his pick.. and I'm glad he chose to be one the best friend's in the world to me. So Q.T.B. If you ever read this: Happy Bday , I Love You, and I'll see you soon!!

haru haru means today today..or so translated my class. They can't get enough of it.. more addicting than the wondrous wonder girls.. they beg for them and actually behave the entire 45 minutes of class so the last fleeting 5 minutes can be saturated with big bang ness....

Tomorrow Tomorrow i will completew my rounds of tecahing Chuseok is like Thanksgiving. let's make a Turkey Lurky!!! It's been fun especially the part when the kids learn the Gobble Gobble sound.. I gobbled at lunch to this 1st grader and he nearly choke up his rice b/c he was laughing so hard. These and many more heart warming kindy moments brought to you by teacher who care!

I need to firm up plans on how to squander my 4 and a half days vaction without spending too much money.. Autobikes are ecpensive and though I love my PINKIE dearly.. she was a mint! So i'm considering having a sleep over, or going to a house party, or climbing a mountain and camping, or soliciting myself all over Seoul. It's like a choose your own adventure book all over again! God I love those things.

Tonight was spent singing karaoke and drinking soju. Some korean guys showed me and CLB some magic tricks.. later I swung by a drinking hole just in time to catch and share a part in the retlling of everyone's worst/best/mostawkward.most interesting/ sexually experience. For me in had to be that time I wanted to wear my letters... memories...
