I finally got my visa number! I'm excited because I haven't really run into any problems with the process so far. My birthdate is looming a few dozen hours away and I am dead tired. I've been working crazy unbelieveable. i put in my notices of resignations at both jobs; I can't believe I'm already starting to miss Troy. But it's high time I take a chance at living , really living life to the fullest.

Mister Lonely

OMG- time to own up to the facts. I'm a Michael Jackson Junkie. I love him, always have and always will. It's just something that has always been a part of me. Well yesterday I learned about the movie Mister lonely.......

"Reaffirming his position as an influential young auteur, Harmony Korine(Gummo, screenwriter of Kids) speaks volumes about identity, love, and art in his latest film. What happens when Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe meet while performing in a nursing home in Paris? The answer, far from being the punch line one might expect, takes viewers on an imaginative ride through the dreamlike lives of a group of celebrity impersonators who strive to create their own special version of utopia in a magnificent mountain commune. Michael (delightfully played by Diego Luna), at the invitation of Marilyn(the always brilliant Samantha Morton), enters the commune after years of alienation and finds his true place in the world amidst a group of likeminded performers. But his position is subtly tested by Marilyn's marriage to Charlie Chaplin. As the impersonators come together to deal with their sick flock of sheep and to build a theater to showcase their talents, Korine merges in another evocative storyline: In the jungle somewhere else in the world, a group of nuns show their purity of heart and devotion to God by skydiving without parachutes. Werner Herzog makes a notable appearance as the priest who pilots their mission in the clouds. Marcel Zyskind's cinematography (on display in A Mighty Heart and The Road to Guantanamo) transports the film to an almost ethereal realm, capturing the incredible colors and depth in vignettes where historical figures from the Pope and Queen Elizabeth to Madonna and Sammy Davis Jr. act out the universal question, "Who am I?"--David Kwok "

Yes!! Thank You God! I passed all 3 of my Criminal Justice Graduate classes with a "B". Good enough for me. I'm going to take some time to pamper myself. it's been a really rough year- but I made! I'm never doing that ish again. My Bday is a mere 4 days away and yes I'm happy but not as excited as usual. Quarter of a century.. everyday after is just getting old.

Yeongju Not Gyeongju! !

I'm jittery today. I can't sit still! I want to be on a plane already. I'm scared that if i continue to stress and panic at the thought of Korea that i will just fold. I don't want to do that. SOLUTION: get on a plane already.
So many things are conditional. The flight date depends on the visa issue date. which depends on the speed on my new employer, their connection to my recruiter ... etc. Sux huh?

yesterday's panic attack was brought to me by the sudden knowledge of my new home. It's not Gyeongju it's Yeongju. Well well, what a big difference one letter makes. So i must go back to the drawing board and re initaiate myself with all things Yeongju. i had gotten into Gyeongju Groove so much that I was beginning to fall in Love. Now I'm waiting for Yeongju to earn my confidences.. so far so good

Busy Bodies

Today was as long as forever. I'm tired but I feel rewarded. We had the BBQ. . It was a blast. Lots of food- i stuffed myself silly and drank way too much! I'm going to miss getting to do things like that. It makes you stop and remember to be thankful for life, friends, family, good food and good times. I'm excited about my B-day celebration it's less than a week away. I'll be a Quarter of a Century Old. I think I've closed in on the luggage that i want to travel with, but sadly I haven't started the moving process.. maybe after my B-day. i just seem to be such a busy girl these days.
For this past year I've worked 2 full time job and Taken 6 Graduate level courses. I need a break from the grown up life. I can't wait to travel and meet new interesting people in strange places! I think about it constantly.. you can probably tell.
